We are open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.



👉 If you plan to wash AND dry, make sure to arrive by 8:45 PM to finish before closing.

💰  WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept:

 

DexterPay – a convenient and secure mobile app to start and manage your laundry cycles


Coins – we accept $2 coins, $1 coins, and 25¢ coins (ONLY CANADIAN COINS ARE ACCEPTED) 

 

A change machine is available on-site for your convenience and detailed instructions for DexterPay are posted in-store.



🧺 WHAT SIZE WASHER SHOULD I USE?


Here’s a quick guide to help you select the right washer based on your laundry load:

  • Bedding: Light bedding like sheets, pillowcases, and small blankets
  • Clothing: Everyday clothing for 1–2 people
  • Rugs: Small MACHINE-WASHABLE rugs like bath mats or entry rugs


40 lb


  • Largest item(s): 1 king-sized comforter or a queen + extras
  • Towels: 8–12 bath towels
  • Bedding: Full set of queen or king bedding, including sheets, duvet cover, and pillowcases
  • Clothing: Clothing for 2–3 people, including bulky items like sweaters and jeans
  • Rugs: Medium-sized MACHINE-WASHABLE rugs (kitchen, runner mats, etc.)


60 lb


  • Largest item(s): 2 queen-sized comforters or 1 king + several winter coats
  • Towels: 12–20 bath towels
  • Bedding: Several full bedding sets (including blankets and duvet covers)
  • Clothing: Full load for a small family (3–4 people), including jackets and heavier items
  • Rugs: Larger MACHINE-WASHABLE area rugs (entry rugs, machine-washable throw rugs)


80 lb


  • Largest item(s): 3+ comforters (mix of king and queen), or duvets + mattress pads
  • Towels: 20+ bath towels
  • Bedding: Multiple bedding sets including quilts, weighted blankets, or thick duvets
  • Clothing: Laundry for a family of 4–6, including bulkier seasonal items
  • Rugs: Multiple large MACHINE-WASHABLE rugs or one oversize MACHINE-WASHABLE area rug


🧼 DO YOU PROVIDE LAUNDRY SUPPLIES ON-SITE?


YES! 

 

Our vending machine offers:


    • Detergent
    • Fabric softener
    • Bleach
    • Other basic laundry products

 

☕ ARE THERE ANY ON-SITE AMENITIES?


We offer:


    • A coffee vending machine
    • A selection of snacks
    • A selection of laundry products
    • A change machine
    • Carts to circulate with your laundry INSIDE of La Benanderie
    • Lots of seating and folding space



Everything you need for a comfortable laundry visit.

 

🚗 IS THERE PARKING OR WI-FI?



 

There is free parking in front and behind the laundromat.

 

And

 

Wi-Fi is available for all clients during their laundry visit

 

🛏️ DO YOU HAVE MACHINES FOR LARGE ITEMS LIKE COMFORTERS?



 

Our machines go up to 80 lb capacity, great for:

 

Queen & king-size comforters

 

Winter coats

 

Bulk bedding

 

Pet beds and WASHABLE rugs

 

👥 IS THE LAUNDROMAT ATTENDED?


La Benanderie operates primarily as a self-service laundromat without on-site staff.


However, if staff are present, they are happy to assist.


At any time, remote assistance is available by:


  • Pressing the camera button near the office
  • Calling the number posted in-store


⏳ CAN I LEAVE MY LAUNDRY WHILE I RUN AN ERRAND?

 

We strongly recommend staying on-site during your wash or dry cycle.


If you need to step away, consider using the DexterPay app to monitor your machine’s remaining time.

 

🧺 If a load is left in a machine for more than 10 minutes after the cycle ends, it may be removed by another client or staff to keep machines available for others.



⚠️ WHAT SHOULD I DO IF A MACHINE ISN’T WORKING?

 
 

    • Note the machine number and the time the issue occurred
    • Press the camera button near the office to alert us. You can also call the number posted in-store


🛠️ We’ll follow up as soon as possible.

 

🧼 WHERE DO I PUT DETERGENT OR SOFTENER?

 

Here’s how to add your products correctly:

 

    • Detergent in pods / sheets / powder format: place them directly inside the drum with your laundry
    • Liquid detergent and softener: pour into the drawer AFTER loading the drum AND closing the door
    • Bleach: add it 3 minutes into the wash cycle, when the indicator appears on the screen

Download the DexterPay app on your smartphone

Open the app and create an account

Enter the location number displayed near the office

Add your payment method: credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay

Select your machine, make your payment, and tap Start
